Towards international Excellence

These first months of 2015-2016 academic year are marked by a loaded international schedule.

The ENAC interactive computing laboratory is a co-organizer of the Human-computer interaction Conference , from the 27 to the 30 of October 2015 in Toulouse. A major international research and innovation event in Human-computer interaction conference.

In November, ENAC will welcome the world most reknown GNSS experts during the International Technical Symposium on Navigation and Timing (16-17 Nov.).

The 18 of November 2015, our Toulouse campus will host the first Aeronautics and Sustainable Development Conference in the frame of the 21st Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21).

As a French Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development school, we are proud to be a fully participating member of this international event of climate change.

ENAC has been chosen by  EASA to be a member of the EASA Virtual Academy. This membership complements the ICAO Regional Training Center of Excellence which have been provided to ENAC by ICAO in December 2014.

Last but not least ENAC is launching a joint Master of Science in engineering in Hong-Kong, with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) which is ranked sixth in Asia in the Shanghaï ranking.

The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is conducting a 2-day Seminar on the Training and Competency Framework of Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP), jointly organised with ENAC on 17 – 18 Oct 2016. This seminar will share experiences on the training and competency framework from the perspectives of ICAO, State regulators, Air Navigation Service Providers and industries. It will also highlight the ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAPs) initiative, which ensures enough qualified and competent aviation professionals are available to operate, manage and maintain the international air transport system.

On the 14th of November 2016, ENAC is organizing 3 tutorials given by the distinguished guest speakers of the ITSNT 2016:

    Tutorial 1 : "Multi-Sensor Navigation - Focus on UAV Navigation", Asst.Prof. Demoz Gebre-Egziabher, Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics Department, University of Minnesota, USA

    Tutorial 2 : "Vision-Based Navigation", Prof. Stephan Weiss, Head of the Control of Networked Systems Group, Alpen-Adria-Universität, Austria

    Tutorial 3 : "Multi-Frequency Multi-Constellation GNSS for Civil Aviation", Christophe Macabiau, Olivier Julien, Carl Milner, TELECOM lab, ENAC, France.
